This Hurst frame extender is designed specifically for 1978-1983 GM G-bodies, GM G-Body applications such as Cutlass, Monte Carlo, Regal, Grand Prix and Malibu applications when installing a Tremec Magnum 6-speed transmission. This extender is designed to be used with Hurst crossmember part# 675610018 and is used to replicate the longer driver side frame rail as developed by GM beginning in the 1984 model year.
