Holley's new Gen1/Gen2 Coyote oil pan makes your classic Ford F series Truck swap easier. The oil pan design keeps a healthy oil capacity of of 7.6 quarts (8.1 w/ stock filter) to ensure adequate oil supply in all street performance and factory-stock type racing applications. The new design installs using stock Coyote engine gasket/baffle assembly to provide factory-like sealing and baffling/windage characteristics. A proprietary design pick-up tube/O-ring and lower sump baffle plate are included as well as two drain-back bosses (unmachined) for turbo applications or catch can returns.
The 302-80 was specifically designed to enable Coyote Gen 1 and 2 engine swaps in 1953-1979 Ford F100, F150 and F250 2WD trucks. Fits both stock* and Crown Vic swapped suspensions. When used with Crown Vic suspension a remote oil filter adpater will be required. *Clears stock frame engine crossmember and steering components when engine crankshaft centerline is installed at the stock Ford small block height, or higher.
The unique fitment geometry of this pan may also be suitable for use in other fitment challenged Coyote swap applications.
***You may need to make a custom tool from an inexpensive 1/4" drive 10mm deep socket to torque the outer bolt of the pick-up tube assembly flange to the oil pump. Image included in instructions.
